Michelle P. Warren, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Michelle P. Warren earned her medical degree from Cornell University
Medical College. She is board-certified in internal medicine, with a subspecialty
in endocrinology and has trained in reproductive endocrinology.
Dr. Warren is the founder and Medical Director of the Center for Menopause,
Hormonal Disorders and Women’s Health since 1997. A pioneer in the effects
of eating disorders and athletics on the menstrual cycle, Dr. Warren was
the first to identify skeletal problems, including scoliosis and stress
fractures that occur in young women as a result of menstrual irregularities.
Over a lifetime of practice focusing on women's health, she has written
numerous articles and textbook chapters and lectures and teaches extensively
on menopause, oral contraceptives, anorexia nervosa, menstrual irregularities,
amenorrhea in athletes, and osteoporosis. She offers individualized treatment
for perimenopause and menopause. She has published a book on sports and
hormones. She conducts clinical trials and medical research and has been
twice named best doctor by NY Magazine and named best doctor in America
for 2004-2005.

Tara I. Allmen, MD, F.A.C.O.G
Dr. Tara Allmen earned her bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University
and her medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. In
1994, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University
of California, San Francisco and is board certified in obstetrics and
gynecology.
A longstanding member of The North American Menopause Society as well as a
certified menopause practitioner by that society, Dr. Allmen joined the Center
For Menopause, Hormonal Disorders and Women's Health in 1999. She has been
actively involved in both clinical trial research and patient care. Due to her
combined passion for teaching and perimenopausal/menopausal medicine, Dr. Allmen
is frequently invited to participate in educational programs aimed at continuing
medical education for physicians and other health care professionals.

Cynthia Berkley, MD
Dr. Cynthia Berkley earner her bachelor's degree cum laude in Biology from
Mount Holyoke College and her medical degree from Columbia University.
She completed her residency in internal medicine also at Columbia Universiy
and is board certified in internal medicine. An attending physician at
Columbia University Medical Center, she cared for medical patients admitted
to the hospital wards as well as the intensive care unit. She has a longstanding
focus in women's healthcare issues and has done extensive work on cervical
cancer and obstetric hemorrhage for women in the developing world.
A certified menopause practitioner and member of The North American Menopause Society Dr. Berkley is currently the Women's Health Scholar at the Center For Menopause, Hormonal Disorders and Women's Health. Dr. Berkley is involved in both clinical trial research as well as patient care.

Rebecca Fenichel, MD
Dr. Rebecca Fenichel earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from Yale University and her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She is currently actively involved in clinical research concerning hypothalamic amenorrhea and post-menopausal osteoporosis, and also serves on the Reproductive Medicine committee of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
Dr. Fenichel is currently the Women’s Health Scholar at the Center for Menopause, Hormonal Disorders and Women’s Health. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Her interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and obesity, gestational diabetes, thyroid disease, and menopause.
