EDUCATION and SUPPORT
Knowledge and understanding are critical to effective health management. To improve women's insight into their circumstances and opportunities, the Center offers a variety of specialized programs, lecture series and support groups.
CARING FOR AGING PARENTS
This group provides support and guidance for women who take care of their
own parents during their advancing years. Information and emotional guidance
are also available to people who have lost a family member or friend to
breast or ovarian cancer, to those addressing mid-life problems and for
managing menopause.
CARE FOR INTERNATIONAL AND NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING WOMEN
The Center recognizes that many women residing in New York, who are here on temporary
or permanent basis, are not fluent in English. We have experienced physicians
who speak a variety of languages and would be happy to help you with a
referral.
CLEARING HOUSE FOR INFORMATION ON MENOPAUSE
The latest up-to-date information on menopause and hormonal problems can be obtained by calling 1-900-678-MENO (6366) or go to www.Menopause.org
